The Beginning

Our story begins with me sitting here drinking a cup of coffee watching the morning news, while waitng for my wife to roll out of bed.As i sit here thinking of the life we just left and the new one coming up, i cant help thinking OMG are we nuts or about to embark on an adventure we will always treasure.
Like many others we have been enjoying life as a normal family, we get up day after day getting up to go to work, raising the kids, mowing the lawn, paying the bills and generaly just feeling numb.
Well it was about a year ago when our youngest of three children turned 18, the lawn looked great and life seemed to be slowing down.
So as any guy out there i was ready to open a beer and sit back and enjoy all we had done over the last 25 years. you know what im talking about, a little fishing after work, watch the grass grow and build out acounts for another 15-20 years and hope for ssn.
But to my suprize my wife had other thoughts, now that the kids were grown and the house was finaly quite she was bored out of her mind. And had no plans of just sitting around watching the grass grow for another 20 years. So the conversations went on for months of what to do with our situation.
We knew we did not have enough money saved to do much of anything, so we came to the conclusion it was all or nothing. So we sold our house and used that money to buy a 34 foot motor home.
So yes im sitting here drinking a cup of coffee watching the morning news waitng for the wife to roll out of bed, in a motor home,in wyoming, in the middle of winter.
